Habitat: Semi-open, disturbed bank of lake under large Pinus strobus tree, w/ shrub-sized Acer rubrum, Carpinus caroliniana, & Tilia americana trees & Diervilla lonicera, Equisetum arvensis, & Poa pratensis.
Occurrence Remarks: Straggly, semi-viny; branchlets of the year green, older ones gray with very thin, silvery outer layer. Occasional.
