Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.

Habitat: Narrow dryish zone between lakeshore wet marsh and roadbed garvel fill, also on the fill itself. Gorgeous, extensive wet fen on deep marl w/marginal shrub swamps adjoining lake on all sides, the latter a 2-lake + streams complex remnant in an old glacial lake basin. Lake itself is 20+ acres, w/pH 7.8 & total alkalinity (ppm CaCO3). Associates include Triglochin palustris, Sphenopholis intermedia,Scirpus americanus, Eleocheris pauciflora, Carex hystericina, Salix discolor, S. canida, Potentila fruticosa, Epilobium sp (abundant), Campanula aparinoides, Lobelia kalmii, Eupatorium perfoliatum, and Solidago ohiensis.
