Habitat:
Old bluegrass pasture in damp clay near bottom of slope of quartzite outcrop with Bromus inermis, Hypericum perforatum, Hieracium aurantiacum, H. caespitosum, Asclepias syriaca. 4 ft. tall straggly shrub, killed back by winters, this one with 10 older stems and 6 of current season. 3 plants seen scattered in the area.
