Occurrence Remarks:
BER. Rarely planted in area. Tree 35 ft. tall. Crown dense, lower limbs downward oriented. [Out-of-range specimen, implied by the collector to have been planted. Most Piehl - collected specimens in WIS are of cultivated trees and shrubs, many from Milwaukee, Co. parks, including other sheets of this same oak - T.S. Cochrane, VI/2003]
