Habitat: Rocky, gravelly or sandy, often grassy, calcareous flat shores (underlain by Niagara dolomite) along bay. With Carex eburnea, C. aurea, Castilleja coccinea, Hypericum kalmianum, Primula mistassinica. BER1978. Very common.
