Habitat: Overgrown commercial cranberry bed. Moist sandy soil in open ground; assoiciated with Carex deflexa. BER. Tussock - like cespitose clump of 67 culms, these erect(only slightly upcurved at base) and fairly stiff, the whole plant only 45 cm across the top.
