Habitat:
On rocky slope of crumbling sandstone, upper half of S side of bluff; very open, w/ Acer rubrum, Betula papyrifera, Prunus virginiana, Rhus typhina, Carex aenea, Lysimachia quadrifolia, Convolvulus spithameus, Oryzopsis pungens. and Antennaria parlinii, Anten. 10,046. Stems slightly glabrate, basal lvs obviously glabrous above, stem lvs narrow, sharp-tipped.
