Edge of unimproved road surface at top of very low bank bordering A) above, in semi-shade (of young, pioneering black spruce - white birch strip), with Lycopodium annotinum, Juncus effusus, J. tenuis, Poa annua, Potentilla tridentata, Trifolium repens,. Gaultheria hispidula, Hieracium aurantiacum, Anaphalis margaritacea. ["A" = Wet, mossy, luxuriantly so, and boggy, old borrow pits either side, with Abies balsamea and Pinus seedlings, Drosera rotuundifolia, Gaultheria hispidula, Hieracium aurantiacum, Anaphalis margaritacea
