Habitat: Under alley of old planted White Pine (Pinus strobus) trees lining access lane to lake. Fairly shaded. Rooted in needle duff over sandy soil. Assoc.: Solanum dulcamara, Rubus occidentalis, Taraxacum officianalis, Pinus strobus seedlings, little else.. Very local, infrequent; ca. 10 plants.
