Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Walworth, Lulu Lake Preserve. Found about 0.25mi. SW of Lulu Lake. The Preserve is located E of Nature Rd. about 1mi. N of the intersection with CTH J & N.

Habitat: Found on an upland ridge between a sedge meadow to the north and a leather leaf bog to the south. Steep, dry gravelly slope. Growing in full sun. Associates include: Solidago missouriensis, Asclepias veticillata, Bouteloua curtipendula, Poa compressa, Arenaria stricta, Panicum perlongum, Erigeon strigosus, Melotius alba.
