Habitat:
In area immediately E of pond pier and growing among habitat created by flowing spring. Found on small upheaved mound of sodden, black, rich marsh soil. Growing with Symplocarpus, Epilobium, Cardamine, Eupatorium, Equisetum, Viola,. Carex spp., Cornus, Impatiens, Larix, grasses, Saxifraga, Typha, Lycopus, Mentha. Little shade. Rare here. Orange-yellow flowers.
