Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat:
Along a mowed roadside embankment. Abundant, hundreds of plants. Voucher for 2n=8; root tips pretreated 45 min in 0.1% colchicine, then fixed in 3:1 absolute ethanol: glacial acetic acid. Hydrolyzed 10 min in N HCl, then stained in Schiffs reagent. Longest chromosome=5 micrometers.
