Habitat:
Steep SW facing grassy bank below stone wall and base of river bluff with thin woods of Tilia amaericana, Gleditsia triacanthos, Quercus rubra, the bank with mostly weedy plants such as Physalis heterophylla,. Asparagus officinalis, Leptoloma congatum and no. 22051 Tridens flavus (L.) Hitchc. This (Trid. flav.) species abundant, the dominant grass, common on both sides of highway in the mile entrance of power plant to entrance of park; on lower side of road common but mostly mowed off. This is the same colony collected 10/14/1972 as Nee 5402
