Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Wet prairie, dominated by Calamagrostis canadensis (most abundant), Andropogon gerardii (somewhat less abundant), Spartina pectinata (least abundant of the big grasses), also Poa palustris, Elymus virginicus, Muhlenbergia mexicana. Never grazed nor plowed, but last year dried up in the drought and accidentally burned. Add'l spp.: Carex tenera, Scirpus atrovirens, populus tremuloides, Salix discolor, Thalictrum dasycarpum, Geum, Spiraea alba, Pycanthemum virginicum Local. Northeeastern-most station for the species (but for a few adventivestation eastward); Sheet 1 of 3. [see label for more information]
