Habitat:
Common in open to partly shaded former pasture along creek, with Thalictrum dasycarpum, Poa pratensis, Teucrium canadense, Quercus macrocarpa, Ulmus americana. Sheet 1 of 3. Plants 1.5-2.5m tall, with 3-5 inflos. There's a basal leaf & 1 or 2 cauline leaves before the leaves of the inflo.; leaf pressed is lowest cauline one. Infl. flat-topped, terminal ones past flowering, lateral ones in full bloom.
