Low places of wet conditions. Pls. up to 6ft tall. Lovely round infls. made of several umbelate clusters of pale yellow, not-showy fls. Lvs. pinnately compound or divided. Hollow stems. Locally abundant. One can candy stems of this sp. for a natural treat. Do not confuse w/ Heracleum
