Habitat:
bottom of a wet N facing slope about 15ft from edge of farm pond. Once open but then over grown with Grey Dogwood, Prickley Ash, Choke Cherry, Wild Apple. Cleared last winter except for some trees. Assoc.: Mosses, Equisetum sp., Penstemon digitalis,. Dodecatheon media, Krigia biflora, dandylion, Erigeron pulchellus, Antennaria sp. at least 6 plants, some not blooming. Several in tight clumps. Seed stalk from last year. Includes photos.
