Habitat: Open level watery flark, Carex lasiocarpa var. americana dominant, Equisetum fluviatile subdominant, with Rhynchospora alba, Phragmites communis, Sarracenia purpurea, Menyanthes trifoliata, Carex limosa, C. livida, C. chordorrhiza, Triglochin maritimum,. Drosera rotundifolia, D. linearis, Betula pumila, and Aronia melanocarpa. Peat- and marl-filled, post-glacial lake basin.
