Habitat: Wet sandy shore of artificial pond, <> full sun; assoc.: Eleocharis engelmannii, Echinochloa crusgalli, Juncus brevicaudatus, Polygonum sagittatum, Hypericum majus (abundant), Ludwigia polycarpa, Agalinis tenuifolia (common), Bidens sp.,. & Eupatorium perfoliatum seedlings. (Also in wet semi-shaded muck at inlet stream, w/ Alisma triviale, Polygonum punctatum, Leersia oryz.).
