Georeference Remarks: Latitude/Longitude was derived from the Township, Range, Section location. This causes an imprecision.
Habitat: Fairly shady (but somewhat open) path along top of abandoned causeway leading to old wooden bridge foundations, surrounded by flood plain silver maple-river birch forest. Dry sandy ground in <> open woods. Assoc.: Agrostis perennans,. Elymus virginicus, Muhlenbergia frondosa, Poa palustris, Saponaria officinalis, Aster lateriflorus, and Solidago gigantea. 4 1/2 mi. due SE of Lyndon Station. 1 clump of 6stems collected, 4cm across at base, 45cm across top of plant. Locally common.
