Habitat: Wet sandy shore of artificial pond, <> full sun; assoc.: Eleocharis engelmannii, Echinochloa crusgalli, Juncus brevicaudatus, Polygonum sagittatum, Hypericum majus (abundant), Ludwigia polycarpa, Agalinis tenuifolia (common), Bidens sp.,. & Eupatorium perfoliatum seedlings. (Also in wet-semi-shaded muck at inlet/stream, w/ Alisma triviale, Leersia oryzoides, Polygonum punctatum, Ludwigia palustris.). Variable in stature. Locally very common. (2 sheets collected: UWGB, WIS)
