Habitat: Thickets and groves of Alnus rugosa, Betula glandulifera, Larix laricina, Picea mariana, Betula papyrifera. (Trees to 12m tall!) Floating 50 acre bog island moved by storms around lake. Common. Shrub 3m tall.
