Habitat: Medium to heavily grazed rocky pasture on S -facing limestone hillside. Assoc. Poa sp., Trifolium hybridum, Viola pedatifida, Daucus carota, Psoralea esculenta, Scutellaria leonardii, Onosmodium molle, Cacalia plantaginea, Centaurea maculosa, etc.. BER. Three or more subpopulations separated by 100+ ft., 100+ total stems, 25+ of these bearing flowers. Collected stem had been broken off by cattle trampling. Sheet 1 of 2. Site and Asclepias located by A.H. Williams in 1995.
