Habitat:
Thicket on old gravel pile next to disturbed (upper) spring. Assoc.: Ambrosia trifida, Arctium minus, Cirsium arvense, Rosa multiflora, Rubus occidentalis, Sambucus canadensis, Silene pratensis, Sonchus uliginosus, and Viola sororia. Originally this spot, like much of the remaining habitat, was part of a prairie fen.
