Habitat:
swampy Alnus rugosa, Caltha palustris, Impatiens thicket, bog. rare. About a dozen plants seen. This specimen not as fully in flower as most of the other. Flowers beautiful blue. Add. note: "This is undoubtedly the general locality of H. psycodes -H.P. Hansen #493 of 1930. Tamaracks in the vicinity." M.Nee 1969
