Habitat:
Near the top of NE-facing sandstone bluff supporting grazed red oak-white pine woods with Ostrya virginiana. Assoc.: Polpodium vulgare and Dryopteris marginalis. Open mossy sandy soil. 3 small patches seen, this one with 8 rosettes
