Habitat:
Roadcut in NH woods; dry to mesic Hemlock (Tsuga canad.)-Maple(Acer sacharum) "Northern Hardwoods" , with Abies balsamea understory, and few Pinus strobus and P. resinosa. Flowers (sepals, ovary (that most of all) petals) and stem all a bright lemon yellow. Lip all white except for yellowish blush at base and on two ridges (Lamellae). Collection date given as: June 31, 1964
