Habitat: Riparian growth in Boreal Forest in eroded area along the Brule River. Growing with Abies balsamifera, Betula papyrifera, Populus grandidentata, Tilia, Alnus, Viburnum lentago, Doellingeria umbellata, Elymus hystrix, E. virginicus. E. wiegandii, Solidago gigantea, etc.
Occurrence Remarks: Analysis of the Vegetative Cover of the Brule River Watershed, Revisited 2015-2018. Perennial herb with yellow ray and yellow disk flowers.
