Habitat:
Native stand of Pinus banksiana, flat, very sandy soil.
Occurrence Remarks:
Tree 12 m. tall, 20 cm. in diameter; bark flaky, somewhat orangish. Cones persistent for several years. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw, the specimen from mid-trunk.
