Habitat:
Dry-mesic prairie on steep N-facing slope, surrounded by agricultural land; assoc.: Achillea millefolium, Amorpha canescens, Bouteloua curtipendula, Coreopsis palmata, Dodecatheon meadia, Eryngium yuccifolium, Liatris aspera, Rosa blanda, Silphium integrifolium, Solidago gigantea, & Sporobolus heterolepis.
Occurrence Remarks:
Small shrub 55 cm tall. Of the1.8 acres only 1.0 acre is good prairie; the western end (0.8 acre) is all small trees and brush.
