Habitat: Cracks in pavement, unshaded with Eragrostis minor, Euphorbia maculata.
Occurrence Remarks: Inflorescence with light, distinctive and not very pleasant odor of Eragrostis cilianensis and Sporobolus heterolepis. This species has a growth form and color making it distinctive and not noticed elsewhere in the vicinity.
