Habitat: Upland Forest on sandy bank on the E side of the Brule River and W of Len Root Road. Growing in Boreal Forest in upland sandy boreal woods formed on sandy bank of the Brule River with Acer saccharum, Fraxinus nigra, Populus tremuloides, Picea alba, Quercus rubra, Aralia nudicaulis, Diervilla, Vaccinium angustifolium, Carex communis, C. rugosperma, Clintonia borealis, Oryzopsis asperifolia, Trillium cernuum, etc.
Occurrence Remarks: Analysis of the Vegetative Cover of the Brule River Watershed, Revisited 2015-2018. Low perennial herbs with slender long creeping rhizomes, flowers white.
