Habitat: In moist alluvial soil adjacent to stream beneath partial canopy of Ulmus americana and Acer negundo with Cardimine bulbosa, Ranunculus hispidus, Glyceria striata, Geum canadense, Angelica atropurpurea, Carex stricta, Caltha palustris, Phalaris arundinacea, and Lonicera x bella.
Occurrence Remarks: Locally common. Petals white.
