Habitat: Disturbed second growth Boreal Forest. Growing with Acer rubrum, Fraxinus nigra, Quercus macrocarpa, Populus tremuloides, Ilex verticillata, Viburnum lentago, V. rafinesquianum, Agrimonia gryposepala, Doellingeria umbellata, Potentilla simplex, Solidago gigantea, Zizia aurea, etc.
Occurrence Remarks: Analysis of the Vegetative Cover of the Brule River Watershed, Revisited 2015-2018. Perennial herb with white ray flowers.
