Habitat:
Upper edge of Quercus velutina savanna, immediately below W-facing dry prairie on crumbling sandstone slope. Assoc.: Aquilegia canadensis, Arabis lyrata, Eupatorium rugosum, Smilacina stellata, Smilax hispida, Ranunculus abortivus, & Rubus occidentalis.
Occurrence Remarks:
A single oval patch 4 X 3 ft. Halfway down steep SSW-facing slope from crest of ridge at 1100 ft. elev. to bottom of unnamed hollow at 700 ft. at base of smaller northern spine of the southern of the two prairies.
