Habitat:
Floodplain forest of Acer saccharinum, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Betula nigra, & Quercus bicolor, with oxbows, channels (slowly flowing, cut-off & still, intermittent, or permanently dry), & small ponds; semi-open dried flat, possibly an old channel no longer carrying water, covered with a sedge sward; assoc.: Boehmeria cylindrica, Carex crinita, C. lupulina, C. tribuloides, Cuscuta cephalanthi, Elymus virginicus, Lysimachia ciliata, Symphyotrichum lateriflorum, small Fraxinus pennsylvanica & Quercus bicolor saplings.
Occurrence Remarks:
