Habitat: Growing in moist, peaty soil once apparently scraped bare with a skidder; separated from road by a 2-m berm, under canopy of Abies balsamea and Acer rubrum, low shrub layer of Cornus alternifolia and Diervilla lonicera, with Oryzopsis canadensis, Eurybia
Occurrence Remarks: Common in strip ca. 2 by 10 m long, otherwise not seen in surrounding area. Young fruits on many plants. Collected here previously by P. Goggin in 2002 (UWSP accession139991).
