Habitat: Quercus macrocarpa savanna, middle of top of NE-SW-trending ridge, long since overgrown and turned into southern dry forest with a mixture of Juniperus virginiana and young deciduous tree spp. (Celtis, Prunus serotina, Quercus velutina, Tilia, Ulmus),
Occurrence Remarks: Six plants in a little strip 1.8 X 0.6 m, two more plants 7 m. away to the west.
