Habitat:
Upland Forest on the W side of the Brule River (former picnic area with decaying table still present). Boreal forest along edge of Brule River. Growing with Populus tremuloides, Acer spicatum, Corylus cornuta, Aralia nudicaulis, Rubus parviflorus, Taxus canadensis, Vaccinium myrtilloides, Clintonia borealis, Equisetum arvense, E. sylvaticum, Maianthemum canadense, Matteuccia struthiopteris, Uvularia sessilifolia, etc.
Occurrence Remarks:
Analysis of the Vegetative Cover of the Brule River Watershed, Revisited 2015-2018. Shrub up to about 15 feet tall, flowers white.
