Habitat: Road-shoulder gravel adjacent sand prairie; open grassy ground. Assoc.: Ambrosia psilostachya, Asclepias verticillata, Dichanthelium sp., Euphorbia corollata, Saponaria officinale, Symphyotrichum oolentangiense, and Tragopogon sp.
Occurrence Remarks: Very local. Flowers light lemon-yellow.
