Habitat:
Upland Forest on the W side of the Brule River (former picnic area with decaying table still present). Boreal forest along bank of Brule River. Growing with Abies balsamae, Thuja occidentalis, Corylus cornuta, Lonicera canadensis, Rubus parviflorus, Equisetum arvense, Anemone quinquefolia, etc.
