Habitat: Tea-brown water with sandy to peaty bottom in small, marshy cove. Small colony. EC=30uS. With Brasenia schreberi, Nymphaea odorata, Calamagrostis canadensis, Utricularia sp.; Triadenum fraseri, Dulichium arundinaceum, Lysimachia terrestris on peaty shore of white-jack pine forest.
Occurrence Remarks: Dull fruits, beaks 3-4 mm; some plants with entirely staminate branches.
