Growing with Quercus elipsiodalis, Q. macrophylla, Comptonia peregrina Prunus americana, Carex pensylvanica, Andropogon gerardii, Apocynum androsaemifolium, Conyza canadensis, Helianthemum canadense, Hieracium aurantiacum, Lysimachia quadrifolia, Oenothera biennis, Solidago nemoralis, etc.
Occurrence Remarks: Analysis of the Vegetative Cover of the Brule River Watershed, Revisited 2015-2018. Grass growing in bunches.
