Habitat:
Upland Forest on sandy bank on the E side of the Brule River and W of Len Root Road. Growing in Boreal Forest in upland sandy boreal woods formed on bank of the Brule River with Abies balsamea, Betula papyrifera, Picea glauca, Populus tremuloides, Quercus rubra, Diervilla, Ilex verticvillata, Lonicera canadensis, Aster macrophylla, Carex blanda, Equisetum arvense, E. sylvaticum, Maianthemum canadense, Onoclea sensibilis, Thalictrum dioicum, etc.
