Habitat: Small weedy flower bed between garages in alley-like setting, associated w/ a mixture of cultivated species (Hemerocallis fulva, Spiraea Xbumalda 'Anthony Waterer," Lamium maculatum, Melissa officinalis, nearly dead Stachys byzantina) & native and alien weeds, which are winning out: Ageratina altissima, Asclepias syriaca, Bidens vulgata, Lactuca serriola, Hackelia virginiana, Fraxinus pennsylvanica seedlings, Plantago major, & Symphyotrichum shortii.
Occurrence Remarks: Originally planted, abundantly self-seeding and spreading within the garden. Post-collection, it developed that plants were obtained from Sylvia Marek, who had gotten them from Lu Severson, who brought some back from Door County. See also Cochrane 15528. Sheet 2 of 2 sheets.
