Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Douglas, Brule River State Forest located E of Amnicon Falls State Park and N of US SR 2. At bridge crossing on Secondary Rd. FF over Brule River about 1.1 mi W of junction of Secondary Rds. FF & H and about 0.1 mi S of Wisconsin Secondary Rd. FF

Habitat: Upland Forest on sandy bank on the W side of the Brule River (former picnic area with decaying table still present). Boreal forest along bank of Brule River in disturbed area from bank errosion. Growing with Cornus canadensis, Diervilla, Rubus, Equisetum arvense.
