Verbatim Elevation: 1559 ft.
Habitat: Emergent and submersed aquatic plants in lake. Assoc.: Elatine minima, Eleocharis acicularis, & Utricularia purpurea. Exceedingly abundant in shallow water, rosettes blanketing the bottom over much of the lake to the depth visible from the surface. Flowering sparse, open fls at the very surface or submersed at depths down to 22 in. below surface. 50-acre seepage lake; water soft, slightly acidic, clear; bottom soft.
