Habitat: Muck and sand bottom at the shoreline. Common assoc.: (Zizania palustris) northern wild rice, (Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani) softstem bulrush, (Sagittaria latifolia) common arrowhead.
Occurrence Remarks: A few scattered locations where the river enters the flowage and in the small pond-like bay near the east boat landing.
