Sedge- & grass-dom. swale-like strip 7m wide, perhaps mowed once ea. spring, betw. much broader, regularly mowed roadside & adjoining swampy woods of quaking aspen-red maple-jack pine. Surface soil moist, slightly peaty,dark gray fine sandy loam, Prob.
Occurrence Remarks:
along w/Thelypteris palustris,Carex hystericina,Hierochloe odorata,Juncus effusus.. Rare [see scan for more]. Close assoc. Scirpus cyperinus, Polygonum scandens, P. sagittatum, Helianthus giganteus.
