Habitat:
Mesotrophic lake, sandy shoreline, pH 8.4. Found in 4-6 ft. of water. Growing out from point of land and subject to considerable abuse from wind and waves.
Occurrence Remarks:
Stem prostrate in water with upper leaves and flowers above water, stem trailing down to bottom with fine roots coming from nodes.
